About Us

Since 1957, Marana Health has delivered compassionate care to our community. We began by providing healthcare to farm workers in the cotton fields of Marana. Today, we serve patients of all ages and backgrounds through 11 locations across Pima County. Our services include medical, dental, behavioral health, recovery, pharmacy, chiropractic services, nutritional services and more.

As a Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC), we make sure everyone can access high-quality care—regardless of income or insurance status. Our Sliding Fee Scale helps patients pay based on what they can afford, so cost isn’t a barrier to getting the care they need.

We’ve grown alongside our community. In 1964, we built our first clinic and doubled our staff. In 1972, when Marana became a Critical Health Manpower Shortage Area, we partnered with the National Health Services Corps to bring more providers to the area. In 1975, the University of Arizona Department of Family and Community Medicine awarded us the Hill-Burton Grant, which allowed us to expand our clinic building significantly. That building served as our main site for 36 years, until we opened our current Marana Main Health Center in 2011.

In 2025, we began a new chapter with a new name, a new look, and a modern patient experience. We became Marana Health, launched a new electronic health record (athenaOne), and introduced a patient portal that helps you:

  • Schedule appointments
  • Send secure messages to your provider
  • Refill prescriptions
  • View test results and health records

For over 67 years, we’ve stood beside our patients—helping families grow, heal, and thrive. Whether you visit us for a routine check-up, dental care, mental health support, or just need someone to listen, we’re here for you.

Marana Health—Your care. Your community. Your home for health.
